A/  A century of clear evidence shows a deliberate program designed to manipulate the commonalty mind so as to install false beliefs and futile responses; television made this program doubly effective.  TV viewing (as demonstrated by the Professors Emery) causes the reasoning facilities of the mind to “shut down”.  This is important because you will also find that “humanity” is a learned ability, not a mere animal instinct unable to work out future benefits or costs.  The primitive instinct is to avoid hurt and seek comfort, so long as we accept enticement to lazy-brain attitudes we remain slaves to animal responses.

B/  Because TV became popular before the advent of computers and because TV remains our common first experience, the mental ‘shut-down’ response becomes a habit often repeated when viewing any electronic screen.  So, even though the computer is more “intelligence friendly” than the TV (with a computer we can stop, think, re-read): for serious matters we need "hard copy" to help our intelligence make legitimate judgments. 

C/   Evidence also supports that it is in the nature of the mind to concentrate more attention on things hand-held or within reach.  This reflects “value-of-possession” but, although your computer screen is within reach, what you see on it is not ‘real’ and physical possession is not in reach.  In times of strife information on “hard copy” may be vital.

So, what is our problem? Many may think trees and animals worth understanding and fighting for; is human life not worth some effort to save? Information is in book form for good reasons.  Everything reported in this presentation is already on the Internet; few awaken?  To be enlightening it had to be found, organized and put into the secure value of “hard copy”.  Those who value life less than a bottle of cheap wine and the effort to understand, have their choice.

Over the years we have faithfully followed our leaders; to death if necessary. Today even group leaders are too ego driven to share leadership, or to look at the big picture.  But single-issue campaigns divide us!  World problems are much more important than single issues.  Fifty years have been wasted on divisive effort but it is now a matter of life and death that we DO NOT follow blindly.  We now live in a world that is overpopulated; very deceitful; wasteful of resources; polluting; governed by hidden agenda and increasingly dangerous.

In discussing human affairs there is no logic for a culture of power segments such as government, religion, law; we cannot understand ourselves in segments.  Just as our bodies need all parts working in harmony, so also the human culture – we cannot continue to let our intellect be divided to allow rule by power groups (large or small) and political blackmail.  We cannot forever blame others of our kind for not taking care of us.

Let’s expose trickery; learn to govern ourselves and attain true human civilization.  Today, our politicians lie without shame; we can do so much better.

To see the value of this work we need to be aware of the deadly mind-manipulating philosophy that is designed to create social decay and worldwide strife.  The success of that plot is shown by the fact that we, the people, now limit ourselves to protesting, whining and arguing among ourselves when we should be working to govern ourselves and to securing truthful information services to support our intellectual needs, duties and responsibilities.

The aim of TOLD is to provide information for understanding, discussion and action.  What is offered here may not be easy to accept but understanding  grows as we absorb the evidence of scientifically programmed deceit.  After fifty  years of divisive protest we are losers.

Lives devoted to study, experience and research reveal no other way to escape enslavement (or even to accept that there is a life/death problem) than by avoidance of mental sloth and adoption of simple intellectual self-disciplines.  Those who will take such efforts seriously and accept that they ARE already deceived by dangerous lies, will then find that they can help save themselves and their families.
